My Background
My name's Brian, and I build websites. I'm a San Diego native but spent time moving around during my childhood as a Navy brat. It was hard keeping friends, but I kept busy with toys. Pulling apart toys gave me a sense of how they were built and what made them work, I enjoyed the added challenge of putting it all back together.
I loved growing up with a computer and was exposed to coding with simple HTML through the early social media sites. The aspect of computer design was very fascinating, which I pursued through a few classes, but I attained my business degree instead.
Over the past year, I made a decision to chase an early passion, working with computers and coding professionally. After a six month intensive coding bootcamp at UCSD, I've gained so much technical expertise and enjoyed the learning process; it gave me that same feling of satisfaction I had when I was growing up, building something from scratch. My innate sense of curiousity and unwavering thirst of knowledge led me here today. This sense of building nothing from scratch is rewarding, and I can't wait to build my career in Web Debelopment.
